Megan Thee Stallion's Duo Chrome Nails Are Sharp as a Knife's Edge

This year has seen the nail art pendulum swing in an extremely low-key direction, with celebrities almost universally opting for nearly naked nails and more muted colors lately. But for someone who has historically gone super colorful and textured with her manicures, Megan Thee Stallion's take on subtlety is still pretty bold compared to others.

On Tuesday, July 2, Megan posted a video in which it seems she may be trying to get us to notice her gorgeous, glistening rings and bracelet. She did caption it, “Kira kira ✨✨✨💎💎💎,” after all. She poses to show them off in front of her longer-than-usual, curly hair and equally sparkly silver eye shadow and liner. But Megan couldn't possibly expect us to focus on the jewels while wearing such a chic manicure, could she?

In true Stallion style, Megan's manicure is long, with the sharpest possible stiletto points. As she moves her hands, you get the full effect of the duo chrome polish she's wearing as it shifts from a deep plum to a greenish gold.

In another grid post a day earlier— a carousel celebrating this past weekend—we got a few other views of the nail look, as well as that diamond and emerald jewelry she was modeling in the video, not to mention some tooth jewelry, and a pretty sweet Hello Kitty phone case.

For mere mortals such as you and I, this manicure may still be considered pretty flashy, but for Megan, it doesn't get much more toned down than this.
