Millie Bobby Brown is a married woman! Multiple outlets have recently reported that the 20-year-old Stranger Things star secretly wed Jake Bongiovi, the 22-year-old son of rockstar Jon Bon Jovi, earlier this month. A source told The Sun that the newlyweds are planning a “bigger ceremony” later in the year, but have filled out their paperwork and made things legal. “It was a very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family with them as they said their vows,” the source told the tabloid.

On May 24, a week after their reported nuptials, the pair were spotted shopping in the Hamptons. In the photos shared by People, Brown and Bongiovi could both be seen wearing their wedding rings during their outing. For her part, Brown was dressed casually in white jeans and a graphic T-shirt, which she topped off with a matching white manicure and a bold pearl statement earring. You can see the photos here.

Brown has largely embraced a bridal color palette since announcing her engagement in April 2023, often opting for an all-white ensemble and, more likely than not, some form of French manicure.

However, while she was clearly excited about becoming “Mrs. Bongiovi,” the lead-up to her “low-key” wedding was relatively understated. For example, Brown nixed a traditional bachelorette party in favor of a “wedding-themed” birthday party back in February.

“It was like a combination because I was like, ‘I’m not going to have a bachelorette party,’” Brown said during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show. “I don’t party, just in general.”

Despite getting married at 20 years old, Millie Bobby Brown didn’t grow up with grand wedding plans. “That wasn’t my dream,” she told Glamour for her Woman of the Year interview in October 2023. “My dream was to have a baby.”

She continued, “I wanted to be the woman that my mom is to me, and I wanted to be the woman that my grandmother was to me. So that was never my, like, intention, to be a wife. But after meeting Jake and seeing, ‘Oh, I don’t have to be this stereotypical wife for him. He doesn’t want me to be that either. He wants me to go and do my thing and live my life, and he will hold my hand in the process of that,’ I was like, ‘Oh, I do want this.’”
