Modesto woman, 46, killed in head-on collision with big rig on Highway 132
A 46-year-old Modesto woman died Friday night after her BMW collided head-on with a big rig on Highway 132 west of Modesto, the CHP reported.
The CHP did not release the woman’s name. The big rig driver was not injured. The CHP identified him as Alexander Patrice, a 58-year-old Santa Rosa resident.
The Modesto woman was driving west on Highway 132 just before 10 p.m. when for unknown reasons her BMW entered the eastbound lane and collided head-on with the big rig, the CHP reported, west of River Road. The weather was cool and wet with occasional rain.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The CHP reported it did not know whether alcohol and/or drugs were factors.
