Motorcyclist dies, passenger injured in crash on Meadowbrook Drive, Fort Worth police say

A motorcyclist was killed and their passenger was seriously injured in a crash Sunday on Meadowbrook Drive, in east Fort Worth, police said.

Officers were called to the accident scene shortly before 6 p.m. near an apartment complex at 5720 Meadowbrook Drive. The accident involved a motorcycle and another vehicle, police said.

The motorcycle driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger on the motorcycle was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the motorcyclist after the notification of next-of-kin.

The Fort Worth police traffic investigation unit is investigating the cause of the accident.
