MUHC and St. Mary's Hospital welcome first babies of 2015
Quebec's first babies of 2015 have been born, one of whom entered the world just seconds after midnight.
Elsa Naccarello was born at the McGill University Health Centre less than half a minute into 2015. She was born 18 seconds after midnight.
She and her mother, Rahela Akter, are both doing well.
Akter and Elsa’s proud father, Giovanni, are from Terrebonne, Que.
St. Mary’s Hospital also welcomed its first baby of 2015. Aizah Brohi was born at 1:47 a.m. to proud parents Zarmeen Maqbool and Asim Raza Brohi. The couple live in Laval.
