Museum showcases Maryland's rich horse industry history

A new resource is open to the public in Reisterstown that provides a one-stop shop for the history of the horse industry in Maryland. "We are celebrating all things horses here," Cricket Goodall, executive director of the Maryland Horse Breeders Association, said. "There's nothing like it in Maryland." In historic Reisterstown on Main Street, the new Maryland Horse Library and Education Center, lets visitors explore the state's rich history in the industry. People will find more than 5,000 volumes of history, many from private collections.
