Nathan Fillion Launches Production Company Collision33, Inks First-Look Deal with Lionsgate
EXCLUSIVE: Nathan Fillion is expanding his producing role, announcing the launch of his production company Collision33, which has inked a first-look deal with Lionsgate. Collision33 was formed by Fillion and his longtime manager and producing partner Michelle Chapman.
Industry veteran Josh Levy is set to head up development for the company and will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of Collision33. Before joining Fillion and Chapman, Levy held positions at Far Field Productions, Boom Studios and The Jackal Group. He most recently served as executive producer on Disney+’s Turner and Hooch and CBS’ True Lies while leading development for Matt Nix’s Flying Glass of Milk Productions.

Lionsgate, which acquired the global content platform eOne in December, said it looks forward to collaborating with Fillion, whose “career has been marked by outstanding performances in television, film, animation and video games.” It added, “Fillion brings a wealth of experience and creativity to the studio.”
“I am incredibly excited about expanding my relationship with Lionsgate. eOne has been a tremendous partner with Michelle and me on The Rookie and The Rookie: Feds,” said Fillion of the deal in a statement to Deadline. “This partnership represents a remarkable opportunity to tell meaningful stories and create content that resonates with viewers across the globe.”
“We are committed to nurturing creativity and supporting emerging and established talent,” added Chapman. “Our goal is to amplify and champion artists’ voices in the industry, fostering an environment where groundbreaking ideas can thrive.”
Heading into its sixth season, Fillion stars on ABC’s hit show The Rookie which he and Chapman executive produce. The duo also served as executive producers for the series spinoff The Rookie: Feds. Fillion’s on-screen roles extend to films, where he will next appear in DC’s Superman: Legacy and take on the role of Guy Gardner, one iteration of the superhero Green Lantern. He has also voiced characters in video games with roles in Halo and Destiny.
