Neebing budget vote planned for June

Neebing council is to vote on the municipality's proposed 2024 budget on June 5.
Clerk-treasurer Erika Kromm said the proposed budget document could be posted on the municipality's website by Monday.
In 2023, the municipality approved a budget that contained $3.8 million in operating expenses and $4.1 worth of capital projects.
Last year's budget derived $2.8 million from local property taxes.
Oliver Paipoonge and Shuniah passed their 2024 budgets earlier this year.
