New Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay Talks Being ‘Shocked’ By Nick Viall, What She Wants in a Guy
Rachel Lindsay, a current contestant on The Bachelor and the next centerpiece for The Bachelorette, stopped by Ellen on Friday and revealed a little more about how her relationship with Nick Viall came to an end.
Her run on the show is still being played out, so how she exits remains a mystery. But we found out that Viall let her go — she didn’t leave on her own. And the news came as a shock to her.
“I really thought that Nick and I had a pretty strong connection,” the 31-year-old lawyer admitted. “I was pretty heartbroken when it happened. But I’ve moved on since then.”
With shooting set to begin in March for her season of The Bachelorette, Lindsay also touched on what she’s looking for in a man.
“I’m a sucker for a great smile,” she said. “I’m looking for a guy who can make me laugh. I’m looking for a guy who knows exactly what he wants, who’s ambitious, ready to start a family, ready to get married. … I’m really just looking for a guy who’s secure, confident, and knows exactly what it is that he wants.”
