Nipawin Ag Society busy preparing for July 15-17 exhibition

NIPAWIN – The Nipawin Ag Society is busy preparing for the Nipawin Exhibition on July 15-17.

The grounds open at 7 a.m. daily and there will be a great deal of activities the whole family will enjoy.

People can pick up their 3 Day Gate Passes and Ride Coupons early at the Nipawin Ag Society office, open at 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. through Saturday or until supplies run out.

There is a new parade route, the parade route that was sent out in this month's water bills was incorrect. The parade will begin at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 14. It will turn right at the lights on main and head all the way down Centre Street to end at Maple Road.

The light horse show will start daily at 9 a.m. each morning. Starting at 1 p.m., the midway rides will open with a petting zoo, pony chariots and a beer gardens. At 2:30 p.m. the Murray Lee Memorial Heavy Horse Driving Competition will show local talent. There is a new heavy horse ring. Every night the chuckwagon races start at 6:30 p.m. for all who enjoy. The Kinsmen Booth will be serving breakfast each morning

Each night entertainment will be in the grandstand. Monday night at 8:30 p.m. Chris Henderson will take the stage, Tuesday night is the Andrew Derksen Band and Wednesday evening will have Andrew Kinakin Hypnosis Show and Brady Weldon at 10 p.m. To register click here for the full schedule of events.
