Noel Fielding looks set to take that his weird and whacky humour to new heights in his new show The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin.
The TV series will consist of six episodes with the first two entries premiering globally on Friday, March 1. A new episode will drop every Friday thereafter until the season finale on Friday, March 29.
The series has now released its first trailer, which demonstrates Fielding's idiosyncratic sense of humour in full effect while the crazy adventures commence.
The TV series' plot will follow Fielding as Turpin, who sets out on wild and absurd adventures after he's made the reluctant leader of a band of outlaws. He also has to outwit a corrupt lawman played by Hugh Bonneville.
Starring alongside them are Friday Night Dinner duo Tamsin Greig and Mark Heap, People Just Do Nothing's Asim Chaudry, The Windsors' Ellie White, Inside Man's Dolly Wells, and Sex Education's Joe Wilkinson. Fielding also co-writes the series and serves as an executive producer.
"With Matt it was a bit weird, because we’re mates and are probably the same low-status person from our respective double acts, where he has [David] Walliams and I have Julian [Barratt]," he said.
"It was more difficult to find how we worked together, but we managed to find a way."
The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin will premiere globally on March 1 with the first two episodes, followed by a new episode every Friday through March 29.
