British high society gathered at England's Chester Cathedral to witness one of their most eligible bachelors, Hugh Grosvenor, 7th Duke of Westminster, tied the knot with Olivia Henson on June 7, 2024.

The wedding was described as "the most royal non-royal wedding of the year" by The Times and was attended by the likes of Prince William—who served as an usher at the event—Princess Eugenie and over 300 other guests, and featured the bride in a stunning bespoke gown by Emma Victoria Payne that was paired with the Fabergé Myrtle Leaf Tiara, traditionally worn by the brides in previous Grosvenor weddings.

With the Grosvenor wedding becoming the talk of the town—in part due to drama involving William and the lack of attendance from his younger brother, Prince Harry—all eyes are on Henson now that she is the incumbent Duchess of Westminster.

She's an Account Manager

A quick peek at Henson's LinkedIn page reveals that she currently works for Belazu, a B Corp, an ethical food production company that sources high-quality ingredients across Europe such as olive oil, lentils, and nuts. She's also held previous positions at No1 Rosemary Water and Daily Dose LDN, as a retail chain manager and the head of business development, respectively.

She Attended the Same School as Kate and Pippa Middleton

Like the Middletons, Henson was a student at Marlborough College, located in Wiltshire, England. The institution is a prestigious one, only admitting 1,000 students. Prior to entering the college, she was also a student at the Dragon School—another prestigious preparatory school—during her early youth in Oxford, and later attended Trinity College in Dublin after graduating from Marlborough, where she focused on Italian and Hispanic studies.

She Speaks Three Languages

Henson's college studies paid off. On her LinkedIn, she listed English, Italian, and Spanish as languages she speaks, with her Spanish being at a professional working level—a skill that will likely take her very far as she adjusts to the life of a duchess.

There's Royalty in Her Blood

Though Henson's marriage to Grosvenor makes her the Duchess of Westminster, she has some aristocratic lineage of her own. The Daily Mail reported that Henson is the oldest daughter of Rupert and Caroline Henson, whose lineage comes from Hoare, a banking family, and Marquess of Bristol. The now duchess is also reportedly “descended from John Manners, the 5th Duke of Rutland, and is a distant cousin of the Manners sisters Lady Violet, Lady Alice, and Lady Eliza.”
