One-hectare wildfire reported near Charlie Lake now listed as ‘under control’

CHARLIE LAKE, B.C. — A wildfire in the Cardinal Road area in Charlie Lake has been reported by the BC Wildfire Service (BCWS).

The BCWS says the one-hectare fire was reported on the evening of May 7th and is currently listed as ‘under control’

The suspected cause, according to the BCWS, is believed to be human activity.

There are no evacuation orders in place as a result of the fire.
