One person injured in drive-by shooting in Clovis neighborhood, police say

The Clovis Police Department investigated a drive-by shooting that sent one person to the hospital Thursday night.

Officers responded at 10:13 p.m. to calls of a shooting at Willow and National avenues.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Clovis police spokesman Ty Wood said the suspects drove away after the shooting in an unknown direction.

Officers canvassed the area during the investigation.

Part of southbound Willow, near Ashlan Avenue, was closed.
