One-Time NFL MVP Cam Newton Captured On Video During Wild Brawl

One-time NFL MVP Cam Newton was involved in a huge brawl at a 7-on-7 football event this weekend, resulting in a viral video of the melee.

The former Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots quarterback, who in his playing days was listed at 6’5″ and 245 pounds, appeared to engage in a battle with several men. The combatants were reported to be from Top Shelf Performance, who had teams playing in the first “We Ball Sports” 7v7 tournament in Atlanta.

Newton’s “C1N” 7v7 team was also participating in the event.

The reports on the fight did not indicate what started things, but it eventually spilled out of a pop-up tent onto a nearby area bordered by a fence. A security officer finally managed to disperse the sides. There were no reports of serious injuries or arrests.

Newton, age 34, last played in the NFL in 2021.
