Oprah comes to Vancouver

World famous talk show host Oprah Winfrey is set to delight thousands when she takes to the stage at Vancouver's Roger Arena on Thursday night.

An Evening with Oprah will see Winfrey share stories from her life and illustrate ways her fans can reach their full potential.

Self-confessed Oprah superfan and teacher Jennifer Black paid $360 to be there.

"Imagine a room full of thousands of Oprah worshippers, it's going to be quite something," she said.

Black says Oprah has taught her about living her best life.

"It's fantastic, to be in the same room as someone who's had such a great influence on my life and on so many others' lives.

"She not only talks the talk, she walks the walk."

"An Evening with Oprah" will open to a sell out crowd at 7 p.m. PST and will be followed by a question and answer session.
