Palm Beach socialite ID’ed as mystery woman cops questioned in Matthew Perry’s death

The identity of the unnamed celebrity who was recently questioned by police in connection to Matthew Perry’s death has been revealed.

Palm Beach socialite turned bit actress Brooke Mueller has been contacted “multiple” times during a widespread investigation launched after the “Friends” star died Oct. 28, 2023, In Touch Weekly reports.

While the beloved actor’s death — due to the acute effects of ketamine and subsequent drowning — was ruled accidental, in May, the LAPD teamed up with the Drug Enforcement Administration and U.S. postal inspectors to find his supplier.

The Benjamin Day School alum, who was raised in Palm Beach by her mother and stepfather, late real estate developer Kenneth Wolofsky, met Perry in one of the troubled star’s stints in rehab. The two “formed an unexpected friendship,” an insider told ITW.

Mueller, who shares two kids with ex Charlie Sheen, hired lawyers after authorities arrived at her sober living house in California last month with a search warrant and seized a laptop and iPhone. She has been fully “cooperative” in the case, the source adds.

Sheen’s lawyer Gregory J. Pedrick released a statement to ITW Wednesday regarding his ex’s involvement: “I believe Ms. Mueller’s past choices may have put her in a position to provide some incidental, anecdotal background to the authorities investigating Mr. Perry’s death. Nothing more.”

As the inquiry nears its conclusion, “multiple people” could be charged, People magazine reports.
