Phoebe Bridgers just wore a corsage dress on the red carpet and we're obsessed

From the Oscars to the Grammys, it feels like there has been a constant stream of red carpet events lately. And that means endless celebrity outfits for us to drool over as the stars pull out all the stops to stand out and make it on the 'best dressed' lists.

We've had sequins, shorts, and cut-outs galore, not to mention everyone from Heidi Klum to Emily Ratajkowski and even Sarah Michelle Gellar rocking the see-through trend. It was more of the same at the iHeartRadio Music Awards last night in LA with some seriously jaw-dropping lewks as everyone chose their preferred trend.

Phoebe Bridgers opted for something a little different, choosing to rep one of this season's emerging styles – the corsage trend. The American singer-songwriter stepped onto the red carpet wearing a black satin slip dress by Rodarte that featured a 3D flower corsage fastened at the center of the neckline.

Simple in its design, the gown featured thin halterneck straps and flowed effortlessly to the ground. It screams timeless elegance and we're low-key obsessed. Phoebe paired the slip with black platform heels and a matching manicure. Sometimes less is more, and the single appliqué flower is statement enough without overpowering the dress.

Phoebe was at the awards to present the Innovator Award to Taylor Swift, who she is set to open for when she joins the pop star's Eras Tour in May. The pair were photographed together backstage, with Taylor wearing a crystal-encrusted hooded jumpsuit by Alexandre Vauthier.

First seen on the SS23 catwalks at Prada, Bottega Veneta, and Saks Potts, corsages have been spotted on the red carpets bringing a femininity and romanticism to proceedings. Nicole Kidman and Halle Berry wore floral-adorned gowns at this year's Oscars, while Sophie Turner was spotted in a flower-appliqued jacket at the beginning of the year and even Harry Styles rocked a corsage neck tie at the Brits.

Coincidentally, actress Jenny Slate wore Phoebe's exact Rodarte dress to the Golden Globe awards in January, but in an apple green hue.
