Photos: Red Hot Chili Peppers bring the heat on a steamy NC summer night

A scorching summer night in Raleigh was not going to slow down the kinetic Red Hot Chili Peppers Wednesday night.

The foursome brings their own heat. The packed house at Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek was treated to the Unlimited Love Tour, complete with jams, high-energy favorites and hits from lead singer Anthony Kiedis, guitarist John Frusciante, drummer Chad Smith and bass guitarist Flea.

The concert comes as “Californication,” the band’s seventh album, has returned to the Billboard charts on its 25th anniversary, Forbes reports.

Rapper Ice Cube opened the show.
