It’s been 10 years since Sacramento and West Sacramento civic leaders decided to make the Tower Bridge an elevated dining destination for one Sunday night in September to celebrate the region as a culinary destination.

More than 800 diners again joined together for the Visit Sacramento event that helps kick off the Farm-to-Fork Festival and also raises funds for scholarships for the children of migrant farm workers.

“It’s awesome to see what the bridge dinner has become. It’s been a success from Day 1,” said chef Randall Selland, who was recognized Sunday for founding the event with chef Patrick Mulvaney. “After 10 years, why wouldn’t it keep going forever?”

This year’s Tower Bridge Dinner was prepared by five lead chefs:

The street festival is Sept. 22-23.
