Police seek answers after woman, 22, is shot dead in Broward

Police on Saturday night identified a woman who was killed in a shooting in Lauderhill earlier that day.

Lauderhill police responded to a 5:50 a.m. call at 2017 NW 46th Ave., where they found Regina Vidal, 22, with a gunshot wound. Lauderhill Fire Rescue arrived but could not save her life.

The motive for the shooting isn’t clear, police said. There are no known suspects, but the investigation is continuing.
