Police seek public’s help in investigation of woman’s shooting in Cahokia Heights
A 27-year-old woman was shot Tuesday night on St. Paul Drive in Cahokia Heights.
The victim’s identity was not released. She survived but it is not known whether she is still in the hospital or was released.
Cahokia Heights Police Detective DeMarius Thomas said the woman was shot in the 700 block of St. Paul Drive at 10:20 p.m.
Police are still looking for the shooter. They are encouraging the public to call the police department with any information they may have that could help find the suspect. The phone number is (618) 332-1184.
Thomas said a motive for the shooting is unclear.
