The Middle Georgia high school football season kicked off last week and saw some impressive performances.

ACE showed their muscle in a 53-0 win over Crawford County, while Mary Persons won a duel between bruising running backs over Northeast, 20-14.

Other important matchups included a blowout win for Westside over Central, Baldwin beating Peach County to start strong and Northside taking down Jones County.
