Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Made at Least One Little Girl’s International Women’s Day
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry celebrated International Women’s Day on Thursday by making one girl very happy. The pair visited the Millennium Point building in Birmingham to greet locals and talk about some of the causes they want to champion in their married life, per People. While there, Harry met 10-year-old Sophia Richards, who told him that she wanted to be an actress when she grew up. He promptly took her to see his fiancée, freshly off her show, Suits, and Richards got her own mentoring session right on the spot.
“Meghan told me that I can achieve whatever I want to achieve,” Richards told People. “And Meghan said she would like to see me on TV when I become an actress,” Richards says. “It was a dream come true. I will never forget this day.”
The couple have been making the rounds with the public quite a lot lately. While visiting Edinburgh Castle in Scotland, they met a mini horse, but this time a dog was among the crowd to greet them. Harry seemed delighted by this particular meet-and-greet.
No matter the audience, human or canine, this couple always seems ready for a formal meeting. Markle, who wore an Alexander McQueen suit to an evening awards event early last month, kept it snappy again during a royal visit to Birmingham, England, in a J.Crew coat and black cropped Alexander Wang trousers.
