Will Prince Harry See Prince William and Kate Middleton During His Visit to London?

Prince Harry is back in the United Kingdom this week, touching down in London to celebrate the 10th anniversary the Invictus Games at St. Paul's Cathedral. It's unlikely any other members of the British royal family will join him at the service.

The Duke of Sussex was last in the UK in early February, flying in to see King Charles after news of his father's cancer diagnosis. Harry will not be seeing Charles on this trip, though a spokesperson said he "hopes to see him soon," and it's unlikely he'll visit with his brother, Prince William, and sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, who is also battling cancer.

"I think there’s always going to be a lot of hope during visits like this that there might be some positive development in the relationship between the brothers, but I think it would be naive to believe that the rift between William and Harry is close to being over. The disagreements were significant and Harry’s decision to put so much from behind closed doors into the into the public domain with his book has damaged trust," Town & Country's contributing editor Victoria Murphy says.

She added, "The last time Harry came to the UK, William made it clear that he had no plans to see him and I think that said a lot about the state of the relationship. You can never say never and it’s obviously always possible, but I wouldn’t be expecting a reconciliation or even a meeting any time soon."

After London, Harry will travel to Nigeria, joined by Meghan Markle.
