Princess Charlene Reworks Monaco’s Flag With Sparkling Details in Louis Vuitton Cold Shoulder Dress at F1 Monaco Grand Prix Gala for Winner Charles Leclerc
Red was the color of the night on Sunday at the F1 Grand Prix of Monaco gala, where Monaco’s Princess Charlene and Prince Albert celebrated Monégasque racing driver Charles Leclerc’s first place victory.
The princess wore a cold shoulder dress by Louis Vuitton, which was embellished with rhinestones at the top of the bodice and around the neck, exposing the shoulder. The dress was complete in bold red with a floor-length silhouette. The look also took subtle inspiration, with a sparkling finish, from Monaco’s flag, which has a red and white band.

She accessorized with the brand’s Minaudiere Bijou Clutch. Meanwhile, Prince Albert chose a tuxedo with a red bowtie.
The Monegasque-red matched Louis Vuitton’s bespoke trunk, which was presented, along with the trophy, to Leclerc after he triumphed earlier at F1 Monaco Grand Prix. The trunk was produced by three artisans and embellished with “V” for victory.
The celebration came after the royals joined the top three champions for the finale of the race earlier in the day; first place Leclerc of Monaco and Ferrari, second place Oscar Piastri of Australia and McLaren, and third place Carlos Sainz of Spain and Ferrari.
For the event, Princess Charlene also wore Louis Vuitton. She was clad in the brand from head to toe, including a blue jumpsuit, the Blossom 75 slingback pumps, sunglasses and earrings.
Other familiar names were among the fans at the Circuit de Monaco, including Ashley Graham, Heidi Klum and her daughter Leni, Alexandra Daddario, Tommy Hilfiger and Emily Ratajkowski.
