Pringles Created a Caviar Collaboration as a Nod to the ‘Real Housewives of New York' Drama

Pringles released its classiest collection yet: the Crisps x Caviar Collection.The Pringles team is clearly made up of Bravo fans.
On Tuesday, Sept. 19, the popular snack company announced that it would be launching one of its classiest offerings yet: the Crisp and Caviar Collection.
The combination was inspired in part by season 14 of Real Housewives of New York, according to a press release. During the season's second episode, the RHONY crew goes to Erin Lichy’s Hamptons home, and there, she was serving caviar-topped Pringles. Not everyone took a liking to it, though — in the clip, Sai De Silva actually called her “a high-low type chick.”
“They put caviar on Pringles? You a high-low type chick?” she asks the camera. “You went to the bodega and got the Pringles... You couldn't even get me a blini?”

Regardless of De Silva’s negative thoughts and feelings on the unusual duo, however, it seems as though it piqued the interest of foodies in the TikTok universe. The combination has garnered more than 10 billion views on the social media platform, and that’s why Pringles realized there was a market for it.
Pringles’ Crisp and Caviar Collection includes three choices of kits: the Pringles x The Caviar Co. Smoky Shores ($49) pairs Sour Cream & Onion Pringles with The Caviar Co.'s Smoked Trout Roe and crème fraîche; the Pringles x The Caviar Co. Salt of The Sea ($110) combines original Pringles, The Caviar Co.'s Classic White Sturgeon Caviar and crème fraîche; and the Pringles x The Caviar Co. 'Crisps and Caviar' Flight ($140) offers Pringles Original, Sour Cream & Onion, and BBQ, along with The Caviar Co.'s Classic White Sturgeon Caviar and Smoked Trout Roe.
Each option comes with a gold caviar keychain complete with a can opener, and two spoons; while the Pringles x The Caviar Co. Smoky Shores and the Pringles x The Caviar Co. Salt of The Sea both come with an exclusive — and super classy — Pringles serving tray.

The Pringles and caviar dilemma wasn’t the only food drama that took place at Lichy’s Hamptons home.
Lichy told PEOPLE in an August interview that she had been planning to make the girls shakshuka, a common North African and Middle Eastern dish that brings together eggs and a tomato-pepper sauce. But the other women refused to let her make it at first, and De Silva even complained that Lichy wasn’t feeding them.
