Public piano set up on Summerside's Water Street
Summerside, P.E.I. has joined a long list of cities around the world rolling out a public piano.
Culture Summerside has placed a refurbished piano with an electronic keyboard onto Water Street, ready for any passerby to play.
Marlene Campbell of Culture Summerside believes the downtown piano will bring new life to the street.
"I think people just like music and I think it brings liveliness to the streetscape and puts a little bit of pleasure in people's busy lives," said Campbell.
The piano will be out during the day all summer.
