Is rain finally over for Sacramento? Here’s how long the sunshine will last

Soak up the sunshine while you can, Sacramento.

Rain is coming back to the capital city this weekend after a few days of clear and partly cloudy skies.

According to forecasts from the National Weather Service, showers are expected to show up later on Sunday

What’s the weather forecast for Sacramento?

Friday will be sunny with a high temperature near 66 degrees and a low temperature around 43 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

There will be some patchy fog on Saturday from 7 to 8 a.m., followed by mostly sunny skies, the agency said in its seven-day forecast. The high will be near 70 and the low will be near 45.

The fog will return after 1 a.m. Sunday, the weather service said.

It should be mostly sunny during the day on Sunday with a high near 66.

However, the weather service said there’s a 20% chance of showers after 10 p.m. Sunday with the low dipping to 50 degrees.

Rain may continue into Monday with a 40% chance of showers during the day and again before 10 p.m., according to the forecast. Temperatures are expected to reach 62 degrees before dipping down to 41 degrees.

On Tuesday, sunshine will return momentarily with a high near 59 and a low around 39.

Wednesday’s forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with temperatures near 62 during the day and dropping to 45 at night.

There’s a slight chance of showers on Thursday, the weather service said.
