14-year-old charged with murder after Raleigh shooting leaves man dead

Raleigh police have charged a 14-year-old with murder in a Monday shooting that took the life of a 24-year-old man.

Amari Goss was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds around 4 p.m. on Poole Road, according to police.

He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and died.

Police announced early Wednesday morning that a 14-year-old has been taken into custody and charged with murder in Goss’s death.

Due to the juvenile’s age, police have not released the name of the suspect.
