Remi Bader Tearfully Confirms Breakup with Boyfriend After 2 Years of Dating: 'I Don't Regret Anything'
Bader previously revealed her boyfriend broke up with her "over text"
Remi Bader has confirmed she and Keyveat Postell have called it quits.
In an emotional TikTok posted on March 5, the content creator tearfully opened up about the end of her nearly two-year relationship.
"This is someone that I thought I was gonna marry," she said. "This was my best friend. I’ve never been so close to someone in my life, and I really, really just wanted to believe that this was who I’d spend the rest of my life with."
Bader also touched on the previous video she'd posted at the end of February — which she deleted shortly after posting — where she'd revealed that Postell broke up with her "over text" nearly two years into their relationship.
"All I can do is keep thinking of the positive: that I never thought that I was capable of being loved and never thought that I could picture kids with anyone or getting married or a future," she continued in the video. "And for the first time in my life, those were things we spoke about all the time, and I really saw that."
Bader, who is celebrating her 29th birthday this week, went on to say that right now she's focusing on herself and won't let this "break" her. "I don’t regret anything. I learned a lot about myself and that I know that I can give so much love to someone else."
"I have no advice for anyone, because I’ve never gone through this before and feel pretty clueless, like I’m learning a new language or something," she added of her first boyfriend and first breakup, before thanking everyone for all the kind messages they've sent her over the past several days.

Bader previously opened up about her relationship last January on the Not Skinny but Not Fat podcast, telling host Amanda Hirsch that she and Postell met on the dating app Lox Club in June 2022. She also talked about wanting to take things slow and keep things low-key — which she maintained throughout their relationship. Keeping her relationship private was important.
"I've been very not sure what to do about all this," Bader said of how to handle having a public relationship. "I've asked a lot of friends who have boyfriends in the industry, and they're like, 'Oh my God, if you can, keep it private.'"
Bader has made a name for herself on TikTok and in fashion as a content creator and voice for encouraging more size inclusion and diversity across the industry. While she started her platform as a way to have fun with trying on clothes and make funny videos, she eventually realized she could make a real impact on fashion as a whole.
“I want to be helping this world and trying to make a difference,” she told PEOPLE exclusively in September during NYFW of how she's working with brands to be more inclusive. “I want to celebrate these brands more than I have been and put a more positive spin on things. I’ve recently changed my mindset on this, and I really want to focus on that instead of bashing them in as harsh of a way.”
She's done a lot of work with brands like VS Pink and Revolve in bringing in size-inclusive ranges for shoppers and is always looking for more that she can offer. As she told PEOPLE, she's constantly looking for more ways she can expand her reach in making this world more inclusive and diverse.
“I literally never planned for any of this to happen,” she shared of her quick rise to mega-influencer status. “I’m happy it did, but I’m still learning and having so many conversations — with other plus-size creators, with brands, with designers, and trying to listen to everyone."
