East, Rockhurst, Park Hill South, Excelsior Springs reach Missouri soccer final fours
The Rockhurst and Park Hill South boys high school soccer teams are headed to the final four.
Rockhurst went on the road and defeated Ozark 2-1 in Saturday’s Missouri Class 4 quarterfinals. The Hawklets advance to play John Burroughs, a 2-1 Saturday winner over Liberty (Wentzville), in next weekend’s state semifinals.
That semifinal match is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17 at the World Wide Technology Soccer Park in Fenton. The state championship match is the following day, also in Fenton.
Park Hill South won 2-0 at Rock Bridge in Saturday’s Class 4 quarterfinals. The Panthers move on to play Lindbergh, a 3-0 winner vs. Christian Brothers College, at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17 in Fenton.

In the Class 3 quarterfinals, East’s Jackson Twizerimana scored twice as the Bears beat Van Horn 5-2 in Independence. East now faces Rockwood Summit in the semifinals at Fenton on Friday.
And in the Class 2 quarterfinals, Excelsior Springs beat host Harrisonville 3-1. Excelsior Springs advances to play Westminster Christian on Friday in Fenton, with a ticket to the state-title match on the line.
