Debris from a downed Russian rocket have damaged a three-story sports hall in Kyiv’s Pechersk district, Kyiv City Military Administration announced on March 25.

Rescuers are sorting through the debris as on-site search and rescue operations are ongoing.

Powerful explosions were heard in the capital after Russia launched ballistic missiles toward Kyiv on March 25.

Debris from other downed Russian missiles have been reported in Kyiv’s Holosiivsk, Dnipro, Solomyansk, and Darnytskyi districts, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported.

No casualties have been reported, though a private house was damaged in Darnytskyi district.

"Preliminary information indicates that debris from a Russian missile attack on Kyiv struck and damaged a residential building in the Pechersk district" the administration reported.
