Gosling posed alongside his dates for the night: his mom Donna, dad Valerio and his sister Mandi. This isn't the first time Gosling has made the Oscars a family night out. In 2017, Mandi was his date to for the ceremony when he was nominated for Best Actor for La La Land.
Barbie is nominated for several awards, including Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Original Song. America Ferrera is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for the movie as well.
The nominated song, which Gosling will bring to life onstage, was written by Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt. Gosling told Variety last month before he found out he'd be performing that he was definitely down for the job, adding that the song is "anthemic."

Gosling, who shares two daughters with partner Eva Mendes, has brought all his Kenergy to red carpets coast to coast and overseas during a months-long press tour.
For the 2024 SAG Awards, Gosling stepped out in a baby blue Gucci suit with his white shirt unbuttoned down to there and no tie, which felt so very Ken of him. He paired the look off with a silver necklace and white dress shoes.

Mendes has been Gosling's biggest fan from the sidelines from day one. Last summer, she shared a picture on Instagram wearing a shirt featuring Gosling as Ken, with the caption, "Got that real big Kenergy. Coz girls is players too."
The photo, which was posted ahead of the release of the movie, drew comments from fans hoping that Mendes might walk a red carpet with her partner. The two have only attended one red carpet together, and it was in 2012. Mendes very nicely shut the idea down.
"What a cool comment, thank you. But we don't do those things together," she wrote in reply.
The 96th Oscars will air live on ABC from the Dolby Theatre on Sunday, March 10, at 7 p.m. ET.
