Was Sabrina Carpenter Inspired by Barry Keoghan’s Old Tweets for Her Recent Singles? Some Fans Think So

Did Barry Keoghan manifest his relationship with Sabrina Carpenter? Or did Sabrina Carpenter stalk Barry Keoghan's Twitter to inspire her new songs? Well, some resurfaced old tweets from the Irish actor's account have fans torn over the two theories.

Fan account @emailsavenue has gone viral on X after unearthing a couple of tweets from Barry Keoghan from years ago in which he inadvertently mentioned both of Sabrina Carpenter's newer releases: "Espresso" and “Please Please Please.”

"This time last year I told you I would that I would be an Espresso Addict," Keoghan's first tweet, from November 2014, reads.

"Can someone Please please Please lend me The Sopranos," Keoghan's second tweet, which was actually posted earlier, in July 2013, reads.

@emailsavenue compiled both tweets in a post on July 1 with the caption: "This is crazy 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭." In just a couple of days, the post has accumulated over one million views, and, of course, it has gotten the fans talking about whether they could be a mere coincidence or more.

Fans are torn between theories in the quote tweets and the comment section. Some laud Keoghan for his manifestation skills, and others praise Carpenter for potentially unearthing the references.

"He manifested her omg," someone commented after seeing Keoghan's old tweets. "I refuse to believe that this was a coincidence," a second user wrote. "He went to the Travis Kelce school of invisible strings," a third one added.

"DID SABRINA JUST WENT FREE DIVING ON HIS TWT ACC???" someone else pointed out. "So that's where the inspiration came from, I see you Sabrina," another user noted. "She must know he loves Espresso and must say [please, please, please] all the time," somebody else added with a crying emoji. "sabrina'sSabrina’s mind >>>," a fourth user wrote.

"Quick stalk his account so we can find out the name of the next single," someone else quipped in the replies, and well, original user @emailsavenue happily obliged. "KISS BY SABRINA CARPENTER IS COMING!" they wrote, including a picture of the singer with a shirt that spells "KISS" and a tweet by Keoghan from 2016 that reads “Miss yas! Big big kiss.”

Okay, maybe 98% of all Twitter users (hyperbolic number, so don't quote me) have posted "kiss" during their time on the social app, but given the track record, we truly never know what could be included in Carpenter's upcoming album, Short n' Sweet.

Whatever the inspiration for "Espresso" and "Please Please Please" might have been, Carpenter seems to have struck gold as both songs are currently fighting for number one on Billboard's Hot 100 list and the global Spotify chart. Is there more where they came from?
