Sacramento-area discount store to close this month. Here’s how low prices will go
Sacramento-area discount retailer 99 Cents Only Store is closing at the end of the month.
The Carmichael location made the “difficult decision to close” and will do so Sept. 29, said Katherine Lynch, a 99 Cents Store spokesperson. She also added that all associates at the store were given the opportunity to make a transfer to a surrounding locations.
The 6431 Fair Oaks Blvd. store location will offer “significant store closing product discounts,” Lynch said.
Discounts will range from 25% to 70%.
“Markdowns will vary by day and by product, depending on remaining product availability at the location. We encourage our customers to shop early for the best selection,” Lynch said.
The 99 Cent Only stores made their start in Downtown, Los Angeles, in the 1960s, according to the business website. The discount retailer now has 350 stores and two distribution centers in California and Texas.
