Sydney spoke with PEOPLE last month about how she was enjoying the final moments of pregnancy and looking forward to welcoming her little boy with her husband by her side.

"I'm looking forward to that special one-on-one time between me and Fred to share those last four precious weeks of waiting for when he wants to appear on earth. So we're just really taking that time and cherishing it because it's never going to happen again. We're never going to be first-time parents again. It's exciting and it's a sweet time."

"We're really excited to take advantage of these of the quieter moments, once all this craziness is done and over with," she said.

Sydney's also looking forward to next season, when she'll be cheering her husband on with their baby boy in tow.

"There are so many kids, so many mamas and babies, that are in the NFL and I've never gotten to be part of that group. And now that I am, it's such an incredible place to be. Of course, these memories by yourself are amazing, but to have them as a pregnant mom or with kids is so special. I'm so excited to be a part of the NFL mama crew."

Fred and Sydney, who appeared on Peter Weber's season of The Bachelor in 2020, got engaged in May 2021 and tied the knot in June 2022, at a small chapel in Vista, Calif. surrounded by loved ones.

The couple first announced their exciting baby news in October, sharing footage from one of their ultrasound appointments.

"The past several months we have experienced the most precious moments of our lives. Every weekly milestone and new development has been indescribable…the best is yet to come!" they captioned the joint Instagram post, revealing their little one will arrive in March 2024.

The pair started the new year by revealing that they would be welcoming a baby boy, slicing into a cake to reveal blue icing.

"Baby Warner ... Is a boy! 🩵" they wrote. "We love this little boy more than he can imagine!"
