Sarah Herron Says Navigating Pregnancy After Loss Is a 'Different Process': 'I Have Different Sensitivities'
Herron got honest with fans about her pregnancy content and where she's at emotionally and mentally
Sarah Herron is opening up to fans about what they can expect from her page since sharing her pregnancy news.
The Bachelor alum and her husband, Dylan Brown, revealed that they're expecting twin baby girls earlier this month, just ahead of the first anniversary of son Oliver's death. The baby boy died after he was born at 24 weeks in Jan. 2023.
"So I just wanted to come on here and touch base and kind of fill you guys in a little bit on where I am mentally and emotionally over the last couple of weeks," she began a set of videos shared on her Instagram Story on Monday.
Referencing the upcoming anniversary on Sunday, Herron said she's been "feeling kind of quiet and inward this week, but doing pretty good."
"But also, I think there's this side of me in this pregnancy that I haven't been fully transparent or sharing very candidly," she shared.

Herron went on to explain that she struggles with optimism and feeling like this pregnancy will just be "good."
"What you guys aren't seeing is the majority of my days [are] filled with rumination and talking with genetic counselors and maternal-fetal medicine doctors and just trying to navigate this whole world of pregnancy after loss," she said.
She noted the sensitivities of her current pregnancy as well, explaining, "being high-risk pregnancy in a small mountain town that doesn't have the same resources, switching care providers from the provider I had during my pregnancy with Oliver and starting completely fresh with a new OB."
"To further complicate things or intensify things is that these two babies that I'm pregnant with now are made from mosaic embryos, and so there's a ton of consideration that has to go into genetic testing of them, and it's a lot."
"So far, all of it is fine. Everything is going great, and I'm in excellent care," she said, explaining that in addition to her new OB, she's also working with the doctor who delivered Oliver, though it's four hours of travel to do so.
"I just wanted to share this because this pregnancy is so different. I don't feel like coming on and talking about symptoms and bumpdates and pregnancy in the way that I used to because I think there's just trauma, and you approach pregnancy after loss in a completely different way and you have a different respect for other women who have gone through loss or are trying to conceive," Herron shared.
"I just have different sensitivities toward sharing pregnancy and announcements now," she added, explaining she wanted to talk to fans "in the spirit of just being transparent and honest with you guys."
"That's just where I am, where we are. We still feel great about everything, but it's some of the nuance that occurs behind the scenes," Herron said. "I'm not saving baby lists or following pregnancy accounts this time around the way I was the first time. It's just a different process."
