Saskatoon's weather, traffic and gas prices for Sunday

Weather

Saskatoon is cloudy and you can expect more rain today. Environment Canada is calling for a 60 per cent chance of showers or drizzle this afternoon. Wind is north at 20 km/h becoming light around noon. Temperature steady near 5 C.

There is a 40 per cent chance of rain tonight with a low of 3 C. It is expected to clear up and warm up by Monday morning.

Traffic​

There are several new traffic restrictions today.

First Avenue N. from 22nd Street E. to 23rd Street E. will be closed from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. CST.

Several street light repairs will create some restrictions and slow moving traffic on Idylwyld Drive today. Ruth Street E. to Adelaide Street E. will be slow moving from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Work is also being done on Idylwyld Drive from Isabella Street W. to Taylor Street W., and also between Ninth Street E. and 11th Street E.

One road project to keep on your radar: the First Avenue exit ramp from the Sid Buckwold Bridge will be closed on Monday from 7 p.m. to Tuesday morning at 7 a.m.

Ave B S. from 19th Street W. to Sonnenschein Way will also be closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday.

Gas

​​The average price for a litre of fuel is unchanged this morning at $1.09 per litre. Costco has the lowest price at the pump, which is down slightly from Friday, at 103.4 cents per litre, according to GasBuddy.com.
