School focuses on 'forgotten student' amid recent tragedies

Efforts are underway at a small northeast Baltimore high school that, at times, has been at the epicenter of tragedy to focus on the "forgotten student." It was in March when newly enrolled student Breon Ennis, 20, was killed while he was on his way to the Achievement Academy. Former student Anquan Jackson, 17, was killed a month later. This school year, when 11 News has reported on the Achievement Academy, it has not been for what it has, in fact, achieved -- which is exactly why the I-Team wanted to go inside. There is an orchestrated, door-to-door effort to get Baltimore students back in school, where it is considered a safer place to be.
