Section of Trump Border Wall Collapses in Strong Winds

Several panels of a new barrier along the US-Mexico border collapsed in high winds on January 29, officials said.

Several panels of the 30-feet barrier were being installed on Wednesday when they blew down on the border at Mexicali and Calexico, the Los Angeles Times said.

KYMA reported that concrete being used to install the new section of wall had not yet cured when the wind struck.

A US Border Patrol agent was quoted as saying that Mexican authorities responded quickly and diverted traffic. There was no injuries, according to the reports. Credit: torressteel.official via Storyful
