There's no denying Selena Gomez is having a major moment right now. With the release of her new album Rare (one of Sel's most iconic bops to date) and another epic press tour of killer lewks, Selena's kind of on fire RN.

To celebrate, Sel took her gal pals to none other than celeb tattoo artist Bang Bang (AKA RiRi's right hand man) and got a badass neck tattoo to mark the occasion.

The Lose You To Love Me singer got the word 'rare' on the right-hand side of her neck, adding to her already impressive collection of over 13 delicate inkings.

Taking to Instagram to share the moment with fans, AKA her 166 million Instagram followers (yes that's eight million more than Kylie Jenner), the singer captioned the video: "Did it again @bangbangnyc 🦋 rare".

The New York based tattoo artist also posted an up close pic of the star's new tatt, with Selena pictured wearing one of her Rare tie-dye merch hoodies, with a messy bun for the late night outing.

This isn't the 27-year-old's only new art work, she got a thigh tattoo of praying hands holding rosary beads before her performance at the 2019 AMAs and matching arrows with friend and regular collaborator singer Julia Michaels in November.

Did we mention she also has the roman numerals “LXXVI” on the back of her neck? A sweet tribute to her mum Mandy who was born in 1976 - very cute.

With her press tour for Rare and an upcoming tour in the works, we'll be seeing a lot more of Sel in the coming weeks, which is good news for fashion fans.

The Look At Me Now singer has been killing it in the style department lately, debuting some fire lewks, no doubt thanks to her long-time stylist Kate Young.
