Seven dead, 41 injured in crash
Seven people were killed and another 41 injured after a bus and a car collided on the N2 outside Ermelo, Mpumalanga on Sunday.
According to a report on News24, paramedics believed one of the vehicles attempted to overtake another on a bend on the N2 and collided head-on.
Six of the people who died were on the bus, while the seventh was travelling in the other vehicle, a Nissan Sentra.
Thirty six passengers in the bus and five in the Sentra were treated for injuries and taken to hospital.
Both vehicles were “severely mangled” in the accident.
