Shot charts from Kentucky basketball’s 97-87 SEC Tournament loss to Texas A&M

The ninth-ranked University of Kentucky men’s basketball team was defeated by unranked Texas A&M 97-87 in the Southeastern Conference Tournament quarterfinals at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, on Friday night.

The Wildcats made 30 of 60 shots from the field (50%), 11 of 27 from 3-point range (40.7%) and 16 of 22 from the free-throw line (72.7%) during Kentucky’s postseason opener.

The Aggies connected on 32 of 69 from the field (46.4%), 11 of 26 3-pointers (42.3%) and 22 of 30 foul shots (73.3%).
