Garrison Brown, who appeared on the TLC reality series Sister Wives along with his parents Kody and Janelle Brown, has died at the age of 25.
Garrison’s death was confirmed by the Flagstaff Police Department, according to People magazine, with officers responding to “a report of a death inside a home” on Tuesday. Garrison was one of six children shared by Kody and Janelle and was a pre-teen when Sister Wives debuted on TLC in 2010. Sister Wives chronicles the lives of polygamist Kody and his four wives — Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn — and their 18 children. The most recent season, the show’s 18th, aired on TLC last year; Kody and Janelle separated in December 2022.
Kody and Janelle posted an emotional tribute to their son in a joint statement on Instagram: “Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown. He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”
TLC released a statement as well: “We are devastated to hear of the tragic loss of Garrison Brown. We extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the Brown family at this difficult time.”
