Six people charged after pro-Palestinian protests in London
Six people have been charged following protests in central London on Saturday.
Scotland Yard said a dispersal order was authorised at 6.43pm, which remained in place until 1am on Sunday.
More than 1,300 officers were on duty as tens of thousands of people demonstrated in London and 29 people were arrested.
Those charged were for offences including failing to comply with conditions imposed under the Public Order Act, or the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act.
One person was arrested on Sunday for a public order offence after a man was allegedly heard making antisemitic comments in Parliament Square, the Met said.
Intelligence was also received about a "pamphlet purported to support Hamas" being on sale at the demonstration.
A copy of it is being "reviewed by Counter Terrorism officers".
In addition, there was an "increase in violence" against police officers, Scotland Yard said, "most significantly when four officers were injured when fireworks were thrown in their direction".

Commander Karen Findlay, responsible for policing in London this week, said: "While the vast majority of people demonstrated peacefully, there were various breakaway groups whose behaviour was completely unacceptable. Our response was quick and decisive."
In addition to the six who have been charged, a further four of those arrested have been referred to their "local youth offending teams", Ms Findlay added.
Officers are "continuing to review footage" and will be arresting people when "alerted to crimes fuelled by hate", she said.
Regarding next weekend's Remembrance events, Commander Findlay said officers will "monitor and review all information available to us".
She added: "We fully appreciate the national significance of Armistice Day. Thousands of officers will be deployed in an extensive security operation and we will use all powers and tactics at our disposal to ensure that anyone intent on disrupting it will not succeed."
