Snowfall warning for southwest Alberta

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for southwest part of the province.

The Pincher Creek, Wateron Lakes National Park, Crownest Pass areas could see up to 20 cm of snow by Sunday.

Cardston and the Blood Reserve are also included in the warning area.

A low pressure centre is forecast to track through Montana Saturday night. As the low approaches, rain will develop on Saturday changing to snow Saturday afternoon.

Snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm are expected before snow ends Sunday morning.
