Sonic Is Giving Away Free Food and Drinks to Teachers and School Staff All Week
The freebies include slushes and breakfast burritos

Calling all educators! Sonic is marking a new semester with some freebies.
From Jan 16. to Jan. 19, educators are eligible for some tasty new deals from the fast food chain to celebrate school being back in session after the winter break.
Teachers, faculty and staff members at a K-12 school or university can score the deals by signing up for Sonic’s Teachers’ Circle on the Sonic app. Once signed up, they’ll have access to the new food or drink rewards each day. The freebies can be redeemed with any purchase in the Sonic app or an order placed on the chain’s website.
The four days of rewards start with a free large drink or slush on Tuesday, Jan. 16, a free regular breakfast burrito on Wednesday, Jan. 17 and a free small cold brew on Thursday, Jan. 18. The final day of freebies is a free order of French toast sticks on Friday, Jan. 19.

The brand said the "multi-day celebration aims to show gratitude and provide a small token of appreciation" for teachers.
Last summer, Sonic also celebrated back to school by offering educators freebies including a free breakfast entrée, free cheeseburger and Sonic staples: free medium tots or fries.
Year-round, a portion of proceeds from any drink purchase is donated to support public education through the Sonic Foundation and their Limeades for Learning initiative.

In July, the chain launched a "drinks remix" menu inspired by orders from celebrities. JP Saxe, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson and Metro Boomin all shared their go-to drinks — and since the combos were made with all existing menu items, customers can still customize their drink order, like a celebrity, or not.
