Another Hollywood blockbuster has been affected by the coronavirus pandemic – this time it's Spider-Man 3.

Set to be Tom Holland's sixth turn as the iconic web-slinger (and his third solo movie), the sequel to last year's Far from Home also includes returning director Jon Watts, but according to BFI's Sight & Sound Magazine, their work on the movie has been postponed.

"Blockbuster productions on pause include The Batman, an as-yet-untitled Spider-Man sequel and Disney's live-action The Little Mermaid remake," it confirms.

We don't yet know a great deal about the project, but Holland previously hinted that the movie is shaping up to be "absolutely insane" and Zendaya's Mary Jane Watson will return once again.
