Here is Stanislaus District fans’ pick for The Bee’s Boys Prep of the Week

Beyer baseball player Andrew Towe did not drive in a run in a pair of Western Athletic Conference games against Pacheco, but he was still a big part of the Patriots’ offense.

The senior second baseman ended the week with five hits, including three doubles and a triple, and scored four runs to help lead his team to back-to-back wins on Monday, May 1, and Wednesday, May 3.

In the series opener, Towe finished with a double and a triple and scored a run in a 10-0 win to help keep the team in the Division III postseason picture. The fans noticed his performance, voting him The Bee’s Boys Player of the Week.

Towe came in first after gaining 90% of the votes in the weekly poll. He finished ahead of baseball players Dawson Downs of Ripon and Central Catholic’s TP Wentworth, who were second and third.
